Double Chocolate Muffins

Here is a quick recipe for my bakery style, rich and moist, ultimate double chocolate muffins.


Double Chocolate Muffins

  • Servings: 6

  • 1 cups of flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
  • Splash of milk
  • 2 tbls of melted butter
  • 2 tbls of veg oil
  • 1 tsp of instant coffee
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of Scharffen Berger semisweet baking chunks


  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. Melt butter, set aside.
  3. Sift all of the dry ingredients, except chocolate chunks.
  4. Mix all of the wet ingredients.
  5. Add wet to dry and fold gently.
  6. Add chocolate chunks.
  7. Bake for 12 minutes and let it cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes.
