It is no secret that we love spending time outdoors. Much like our partner, we seek activities that are engaging and cooperative. Something about being together and having fun, it gives us positive energy – until someone looses a game. 🤣
Have kids they said, it will be fun they said! #parentingishard
This time we partnered up with AJ Play to show you a fun game that will excite your kids and elevate your next party or picnic. Come and check out our new outdoor activity, Spider Disc Games [SDG].
Besides being interactive and even educational, we have so much fun playing this game. We laugh and make up our own dance moves as we go. Kids truly enjoy trying to get the disc on the pole and matching the colors. It is super easy to put together, it comes with a bag for easy storage and you can bring it to any party or picnic.
All about #childhoodunplugged
There are several different ways you can play Spider Disc Games but the original rules are as follows:
SPIDER DISC GAMES:
Teams of 2+ players or no teams
Game Instructions: A round consists of each player throwing all four spider discs. The thrower lines up 8 to 10 feet away from the pole. A player cannot remove the disc from the pole until their turn is over and it is the next player’s turn. If a disc falls off, that player loses the points from that disc. The player who is not throwing is the receiver and gathers the missed throws. The receiver stands no closer than ten feet behind the pole. If the receiver catches two missed throws in a round, the receiver earns a point. Players alternate turns until someone reaches 11 points.
- Spider Disc Games rules apply
- Divide players into teams
- First team to 17 points win
- Receiving team alternates players each round
- If you catch the pole you get 1 point.
- If you match the color on the disc to the color on the pole, you get 2 points.
- If the player wraps both legs around the pole, this is called a BLACK WIDOW CATCH, you get 2 points.
