Spruce up his style this Father’s Day

Father’s day is around the corner. A day to show dads how much they mean to us. A day to acknowledge and appreciate their sacrifices and hard work. What better way to do just that, than a little wardrobe upgrade. Much like moms, dads put fashion and style on the back burner. So today I will show you a few trendy, age appropriate pieces that are sure to make your man look and feel good this Father’s day.

Shorts. Some trendy denim shorts are a must have. Just because they are a dad or a husband, doesn’t mean they can’t be trendy.

But if he is more of a traditional guy, then these fun patterns will do.

Linen shirts. YES! This never goes out of style. Especially in white or cream colors.

Real men wear pink so a botton down PINK dress shirt is a must. It’s the perfect spring and summer color and it makes a man look like he actually tried.

Jeans. Grey is in, so a pair of these [they do not have to be skinny style] will go a long way.

Shoes. Very important to have the right shoes this summer. Popular choices are a boat shoe, white sneakers and of course sandals/ flip flops.

Basics. These pieces can be dressed up with a cardigan and boat shoes or dressed down with shorts and flip flops. Polos and tshirts for the win. Stick with solid colors or minimal patterns and they can be interchanged with multiple outfits.

Finally accessories. Most men are not the accessory type but a new watch or sunglasses would pair well with all of these outfits.

Whatever you chose, have fun and let him know that he can and still does look good -despite the #dadbod 😀
