Do you ever just need a break from life?

An hour to yourself without distractions?

A moment to reset and recharge?

Me too.

As a matter of fact, I feel like this more often than not. And guess what? I don’t feel guilty. Guilty about the way I feel or about taking a break either.

I just find ways to manage it. And one way I like to decompress is by indulging in a little adult coloring.

Yes, I said coloring.

By now, everyone should be familiar with this concept but if you are not, it is exactly what it sounds like. Adult Coloring. Not only is this form of distraction beautiful but it’s sooooo therapeutic. No wonder kids get emersed in it for hours.

The health benefits of coloring, according to online sources are:

  • REDUCE STRESS AND ANXIETY.
  • IMPROVE MOTOR SKILLS AND VISION.
  • IMPROVE SLEEP.
  • IMPROVE FOCUS.
  • …and more!

Now, I know you can find adult coloring books all over the internet. As well as download apps that are of similar nature. But today, I’ve decided to take it a step further and create my own coloring pages. Plus I get to share them with you too! It’s a win-win. Right?

Here is a downloadable and printable packet of 5 adult coloring pages to get you started. If they do well, maybe I will create more in the future. Let me know in the comments if you are interested!

In the mean time, get your coloring pencils or pens ready, put that phone away, turn on some spa music or whatever makes your little heart happy and have fun!

Until next time, dream in colors!

I actually downloaded a coloring app on my phone. Not the same as real coloring but still helps turn off my brain for a bit!
