The Finest Brunch Spots – Suburbs of Chicago

Good morning.

Fun fact: I used to hate breakfast! Eating so early in the morning made me feel nauseous all day. But brunch, I absolutely love. The timing is right and I can have the best of both worlds: breakfast or lunch or both! I truly enjoy the overall experience.

In the past few weeks I explored some fun new brunch spots in the suburbs of Chicago and had to share them with all of you. From refreshing cocktails to decadent food and eye catching decor, I have it all for you.

Must try brunch spots.

B U T T E R M I L K – Naperville, IL

I love the vibe at Buttermilk. Super clean lines and Joanna Gains inspired decor. The menu is extensive. You have your regular omelettes, eggs your way, pancakes waffles, sandwiches and more.

I ordered what I expected to be a simple veggie omelette but what I received instead was an explosion of veggies and an omelet for two! BBut I was not complaining. It was amazing. My sister and nephew devoured their scrambled eggs, pancakes and we all indulged in their oh so delicious crispy potatoes. Absolutely loved the place, the service and the food of course.

I also had to try their in house, freshly made biscuits and they were top notch. Flaky and warm but super soft and drizzled with honey. I could eat a dozen of those by themselves! Oh wait…there is more! You can eat a dozen if you choose to do so. They are on the menu by the basket! YUP! You are welcome.

But what I did not get a chance to try and will definitely go back for is their fabulous coffee bar/ list. They have my favorites like lattes, cappuccinos and macchiatos. Which warrants another visit asap and I will try their Geneva location next.

H A M P T O N S O C I A L – Burr Ridge, IL

This place speaks for itself. It is all in the name. Classy East Coast living vibes. You feel it from the moment you enter the plaza. The exterior is very inviting. Simple yet intriguing.

This is their second location and it is located in the heart of Burr Ridge. I don’t know about you but I don’t always think Burr Ridge when it comes to dining. However, this location and this place blew my mind.

We enjoyed a couple of their brunch items. My husband absolutely devoured their Crab & Avocado Toast which included a fried egg, burrata and roasted tomatoes. I, on the other hand, went straight for their infamous Lobster Roll, accompanied by the classic Froze! We almost licked our plates. ’nuff said!

I could not recommmend this place more and I will be back SOON for their new Hampton-inspired favorites! Parmesan Trout, Avocado & Corn Brick Oven Pizza, Shelter Island Salmon, and much more. Who wants to join me next time?!

B I E N T R U C H A – Geneva, IL

I have heard so much about this place over the years and finally checked it out with some girlfriends about a year ago. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner with some very classic but oh so different tacos. Their take on street food is definitely what gives this place such a high rating and draws the crowds. Their flavors are unique and well executed.

The place is very small, super loud and tables are very close together. But grab one of their fabulous cocktails and enjoy the company. Reservations are highly recommended for dinner service and sometimes you may have to wait for weeks to get in on the weekends. But during lunch, as long as you get there before noon, you may get lucky and find a seat or two. No reservations are accepted for lunch service so plan extra wait time.

Their menu is eclectic, food is outstanding, a bit pricey but worth ever penny. I highly suggest you stop by and give it a try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Next time you are out and about, tag me and maybe I will feature your favorite place as well!
