TOP 5 HOLIDAY ATTRACTIONS IN CHICAGO 2021

top 5 chicago attractions

I have to admit, I am impressed with the amount of events and attractions we have going on in and around Chicago this year. We are making up for COVID big time!

But to be fair, it can be overwhelming too. That is why I had to go through a lot of research and reviews to bring you what I would consider THE top 5 of this season.

Here you go!

#5 Lightscape at Chicago Botanical Gardens

Based on the mommy blogs, the reviews, social media and all things Christmas in Chicago, this is THE light show of the year. It runs through Jan 2nd, 2022. An incredible experience that allows you to immerse yourself and explore the gardens after dark. I can’t wait to see this myself.

#4 Christkindlmarket

This German Christmas market is an outdoor experience for the entire family. The best part is that there are two. The original in downtown Chicago and the smaller version in Wrigleyville. Both of which offer plenty of outdoor holiday activities and of course, food and drinks. This is perfect for everyone but especially if you have family visiting from out of town.

#3 Elf’d Up

My favorite holiday movie is Elf and when I heard they turned a bar into all things Elf, I was sold. Stretch Bar & Grill in Wrigleyville turned Elf’d Up at 3485 N. Clark Street is a full-blown tribute to the beloved Christmas movie ELF. A high-energy holiday pop-up bar that never charges a cover and treats patrons to complimentary fresh elf-shaped cookies nightly at 10 p.m. A holiday must see!

#2 Amaze Rosemont

A baseball field that has been transformed into seven magical worlds of lights and music. Millions of lights and holiday fun. Including Santa, rides and slides. Hours of entertainment for the entire family.

#1 Dining in Igloos

There is a spot in Naperville that is gaining popularity for not only it’s fantastic Neapolitan Pizzas but their amazing Winter Villas and Greenhouses. They are warm and can seat 4-6 depending on which one you choose. Minimum purchase at Fiamme is $99 and families can enjoy pastas, pizzas, desserts and so much more.

So what do you think? Will you visit any of these spots? I know we will. In the meantime, check out our favorite visit from last season, Jack Frost Winter Village. Another amazing venue to visit if you have a chance.

Until next time, stay warm.
