Moms go to essential oils

Disclaimer: I am not an expert and the following statements are MY opinions based on personal experiences.

E S S E N T I A L  O I L S

I was introduced to essential oils about 4 or 5 years ago and I have not looked back. Now, I do not use every oil out there nor do I subscribe in any monthly delivery services. What I do is research the best, safest and necessary oils for my family and purchase them at my local health food store.

My go to store is www.fruitfulyield.com – 3 main oils I like & my take on them.

Tee tree oil – life saver.

FUNGUS – after I had my daughter Adriana I started running. Well with that I experienced a toe nail fungus from my running shoes. GROSS! I tried so many over the counter and DIY remedies and nothing. It took months and I finally tried this oil. My toe was back to normal in matter of days. Ok maybe weeks. But after months of trying different things and no changes, this was a miracle worker to me. Just a drop every day and gross be gone!

TOYS – best germ killer out there. A few drops of this in a tub full of toys and water and you are guaranteed to kill any little suckers hanging on to your kids toys.

BATH TIME – with lice craziness at schools, this oil will be your best friend. I use this in my kids baths and shampoo on weekly basis during the school year to prevent lice. So far so good – not even one case in this house.

Oregano oil – yum.

COLDS, SORE THROATS – if you research this oil you will find out how beneficial it really is. it works WELL for us. Any time my kids get the sniffles I rub a few drops of this magic on their shins. You can dilute it with coconut oil as well because some people say it burns. We have not experienced any of this but just to be safe, try it on yourself before applying to your kids. On another note, when my husband or I have a sore throat or a cough, a few drops of oregano oil in my water is all it takes.

Lavender oil – ahhhh smells so good.

BATH TIME – this oil is known for its calming effects and I love it. I use it in my kids baths [along with tea tree oil] to relax and help them sleep better.

RELAXATION – I also put it into my diffuser and enjoy it any time of day for it’s amazing effect on my nerves and anxiety.

As with anything, please do your research before trying essential oils. There are many fake products on the market and you are always better off going to a certified organic/ health food store to ensure you are getting the best product for your money and safest for your family. Oils are not cheap and you want to get the best of the best. They last a long time so don’t be turned off by the price. You will get months of use from just one small bottle.
