Mommy Fashion Tips 2022

I will start off by saying, life is too short to care what anyone else thinks. Be who you want to be and wear what you want to wear. If it makes you feel good, do it. But if you need some tips on comfort and style – let me tell you how to do it.

Black is back!

Now, I know it’s a trend right now to be into bright colors and loud prints and mixing your patterns, but let’s be real: that’s totally not practical for a busy mom. When you’re juggling work, kids, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning…you need clothes that you can put on in the morning and forget about until you take them off at night. You don’t have time to think about whether or not your look is working—you just need it to work! Black is your answer.

Once upon a time, black was considered too formal for daytime use; these days it’s an all-purpose classic. Black is flattering on any figure; it has no wrinkles or stains to worry about. Black can seem boring to some but there are a plenty of ways to add color with accessories like scarves or jewelry without compromising on your beloved little black dress or slacks.

Statement earrings are coming on strong.

Big, bold, colorful earrings are in. There are so many options too. You can match them with your outfit or make them completely stand out on their own. Pair it with an all black look for a statement or go all out with florals! Just have fun.

Frayed edges will be one of the biggest denim trends of 2022.

Frayed edges are the perfect way to make your jeans feel fresh. The rough hems are a chic way to add interest to any outfit, making them a great option for this upcoming season. Plus with all of the added cushioning and support they provide, you can be sure that you’ll be sitting comfortably all day long.

This style is incredibly easy to wear, too. A pair of frayed-edge jeans looks great with just about anything, from plain white T-shirts and denim jackets to floral tops and chunky cardigans. In fact, these pants actually add more dimension than your average pair! Just pair them up with some sneakers for an effortless look that’s both stylish and comfortable at the same time.

Sleek sneakers.

Sleek sneakers are in style for 2022, especially if they’re chunky. But don’t get a pair of clunky loafers, those are definitely out. Look for something with a bit of style and panache. I like the new collection from Under Armor; they’ve designed some beautiful monochromatic shoes that are both stylish and comfortable. You can wear them anywhere. You’ll be sure to turn heads when you walk down the street in your new kicks!

As with any fashion trend, there’s always an exception: if you prioritize comfort over looks then I suggest trying out these comfy sneakers from New Balance instead. They look equally good with jeans or skirts but will keep your feet feeling great all day long whether you’re working at home or running around town!

start shopping!

So get out there and start shopping! Don’t worry if it’s not your favorite thing to do and you don’t consider yourself a shopper. You won’t be expected to become the next Carrie Bradshaw overnight. Just take it one step at a time, figure out what works for you, and enjoy the ride.

Until next time, trust your style and check out my last fashion post here.

  1. With the pandemic the last 2 years we have all been in sweatpants and tshirts and now that people are going back to work it’s so hard to get into a routine of doing makeup and hair!

Now we are planning to go back home and I need new clothes and we all know how back home people dress up for everything and anything lol there are some great items on here that I will have to look into ❤️

  2. I live in leggings or jeans. But summer is a dress type of weather for me. Youll always see me in a comfy dress. Wear what you feel comfy in. 🌹
