Take your date to the next level – Vol II

Escape rooms have been all the rage lately. My social media is filled with tags and photos of family and friends enjoying this new craze. So Alen and I had to jump at the chance to explore one on our own.

Escape Strategy in Aurora, IL.

Nothing says date night like being locked in a room with your significant other for 60 minutes. Right?! If you can survive this, you can survive anything hahaha. But really this was an enormous amount of fun and it makes you want to go back again and again.

Final Thoughts!

We had The Senators Office and the clues were ridiculously good. By that I mean they were so creatively placed that it made you feel stupid once you actually found them. You questioned your smarts every minute you were in there but in the end it all came together and made so much sense. We may or may not have escaped but that is really not important 🤣 What is super important is that we worked well together and had a blast doing it. There was laughter, there was sweat, there may have even been some tears but we loved it all! We still talk about it all of the time and we can’t wait to go back.

If you think this isn’t for you because you are not a gamer, you are wrong. I am not into games and although this was my second time in an escape room it was Alen’s first. But there were no issues and we were able to jump right into the action. So if you enjoy solving puzzles or just want to try something new and different, we definitely recommend Escape Strategy in Aurora. Give them a call and make sure you mention Hazel Eyes Mom sent ya!
